Our Curriculum

The curriculum at Wichai Wittaya School is primarily derived from the standards and benchmarks of Cambridge Education and the Ministry of Education Thailand.

Wichai Wittaya School teachers Implement the curriculum through modern, research-based, student-centered methodologies. Including Inquiry and project-based units of study. All wichai School teachers are highly qualified and come to our school with previous experience in their field of education.
Technology ICT
Information and communication technology is now a mature part of the curriculum. ICT suite (Maclab) is where you can teach the whole class at once how to do things, and networked computers in the classrooms, so that students can practice their skills in a subject context. Once restricted to upper secondary schools as “computer studies”, ICT is now taught even to children at very young ages. Technology changes over time, but the concepts of handling data and converting data into information are fairly constant and this is reflected in the terminology of the program of study.
In these subjects, students experience the freedom to express beauty and individuality. In Music class, students develop an interest and appreciation for different styles of music. Art classes build confidence and capability for expression.
Science is different from any other subject that a student takes up in school. This discipline unlike other courses affects the lives of each and every person in several ways. Teaching science, therefore, requires a different approach. wichai have to provide opportunities for its students to learn the various methods and processes
It is our view that Physical Education (PE) makes a unique contribution to students' well-being and is the most powerful subject in terms of its impact on both physical and emotional health. PE, school sports and physical activity are proven to enhance physical health, boost mental wellbeing, build resilience, lift academic achievement and create active habits for life. It also instils in young people the core values of creativity, aspirations, resilience and empathy which in turn contribute to wellbeing and achievement.
There are reading and writing groups and collections of books, poems, fiction, and non-fiction. The students are absorbed in classic and modern fiction. The librarian helps them glance and recommends the newest cool reads. Most of all, it is the place where relationships are shaped, recommendations are made and reading culture is formed.
