Admission Guidelines
At Wichai Wittaya School Cambridge Program, we have designed our admission procedure to be as seamless and practical as possible.
When you visit us you can see the campus facilities and meet staff and students. There will also be the opportunity to arrange for placement tests (applicable for students entering Grade 1 and above). These tests help us to ensure a more seamless transition into the school for your child and include English language tests as well as aptitude tests, which may include math and science subjects.
As there are no tests for students entering below Grade 1 (Kindergarten students), a simple, friendly chat with the child will occur with the Head of Kindergarten to help advise the teachers as to their language level.

Admission by Level
Kindergarten affords all children an opportunity to develop cognitive, social, emotional and physical skills in an environment that is safe and supportive. Students can start with zero English level — our teachers and assistants are trained to help young learners carry out instructions from day one.
Our Primary programme aims to promote ‘learning about learning’ to ensure that children develop into resourceful and independent learners, critical and creative thinkers, capable of adapting to the challenges and responsibilities of an ever-changing world. Students entering early Primary will be assisted by teachers; from Year 4 onwards, basic English proficiency is required.
Middle and Upper School students learn the value of teamwork and critical thinking through the Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level programmes. Year 7 students from regular schools may be accepted with basic English and are required to attend Summer Intensive and Saturday Reinforcement Courses. Students entering Grade 10 or higher require intermediate or higher English proficiency.
Gifted and talented students are those who perform at or show the potential for performing at a remarkably high level of accomplishment. We offer Academic, Performing Arts, and Sports scholarships for entry into Grade 7 to 10. Gifted students are followed by assigned teachers, study advanced topics, and participate in national and international competitions.
